[00:00:01] Announcer: Records of the unknown. Operation Latency contains horror elements that may be disturbing to some listeners. Listener discretion is advised. [00:00:17] Announcer: You are listening to an atomic broadcasting production, so sit back, relax and enjoy the feature presentation. And remember, do your part. Such as like comment rate and don't forget to tell a friend to tune in for an atomic time. [00:00:43] GM: Gunfire shouting what is that thing? An unearthly roar. We see Corporal Adams in what looks like an underground minimum military installation. Around him, several other soldiers are running alongside him. On the walls are torn Nazi banners. Dead scientists all around. Fear adorns each and every one of the soldiers. A fear they had never felt before. Not while fighting the Nazis, not while diving miles in the air, not while facing the beaches littered with bodies. Corporal Adams takes one look back. A large hairy hand begins to cross the threshold into the corridor. The Corporal turns away as he hears the crashing of a wave. As water floods into the corridor and envelops the corporal. All you see now is the vast deep ocean. A faint light illuminates you as you see a silhouette moving towards you. Humanoid at first, 16ft in height. You see arms, four arms. Its head seems as if it's split down the middle. The light above you begins to change colors. Red, blue, violet. There's a buzzing in the back of your head. The lights begin changing faster and faster and as they change, the silhouette moves closer and closer. The buzzing begins turning into a shrill, high pitched drill. The three of you all awaken as you hear a child screaming outside. November 18, 1952. Can the three of you all give me power checks as you awaken? [00:02:40] Agent Adams: 25 under 50. [00:02:42] Agent Steele: 62 under 75. [00:02:44] Agent Ballamy: 28 under 50. [00:02:46] GM: You may continue. [00:02:48] Agent Adams: The corporal, the two of you would notice, wakes up in a cold sweat and faster than you can even really track. He's got his gun in his hand and is like pointing it in front of him, not seemingly at anything until he is able to kind of take in his surroundings and slowly kind of lower it down. But then realizing what he actually just heard, jumps out of bed. [00:03:17] Agent Steele: Dr. Steele will kind of bolt upright, having heard the scream and going to react in response. In case someone is in medical need, he will grab his cane, grab his medical kit and then start, you know, trying to head for the door and find where that scream came from. [00:03:40] Agent Ballamy: Birdie also partakes in the bolting awake and she kind of looks around like anyone else hear that? [00:03:51] Agent Adams: Yes. I'm gonna try and find the source of the scream. [00:03:56] GM: Okay, so the three of you all run outside quickly donning winter apparel. Yeah, you Guys, get downstairs, the bar is empty. Some morning there's like one or two people in the corner. As the three of you barge outside, you see the child screaming, parents consoling, crowds beginning to gather. Birdie and Corporal Adams you see off to the side, away from everyone else behind a house. You see about three kids snickering and laughing with each other. And then the child says, I saw him. He was out the window. The gray man, followed by parents being like, oh, it's not, you know, it's not real. Don't think about that. It's just a story people keep telling. [00:04:50] Agent Adams: I'm tempted to go over and try to talk to them, but I also don't want to traumatize that child any more than it already has been. [00:04:56] Agent Steele: Dr. Steele, having not noticed the other kids that my partner noticed, I will still approach where the crowd is gathered around the kid. I was crying and how thick is the crowd? Is it can I not reach the child? [00:05:08] GM: Or is it ah, there's like maybe six or seven people now. It's not a lot get close. [00:05:15] Agent Steele: I ask them, are you hurt? [00:05:18] GM: He was outside my window. I think he'll be okay. I think he'll be okay. He's just. He just got spooked. He's scared himself. [00:05:30] Agent Adams: I would like to approach the kids that I saw snickering, but I can wait until after Dr. Steele's doing. Done doing what he's doing. [00:05:41] Agent Steele: If you're sure he's fine. I would want to make sure he was patched up. If he had cuts or bad bruising. [00:05:49] GM: Who are you? I've never seen you here before. [00:05:53] Agent Steele: Apologies, I am Agent Steel. I am here for. On CIA business. But I do have. [00:06:00] GM: What CIA business? [00:06:02] Agent Steele: What? I do have practice in medicine as well. So I was just making sure that he was alright. [00:06:08] GM: I think he's fine. [00:06:10] Agent Adams: Okay. [00:06:10] GM: CIA what? As you're doing that, Corporal Adams begins walking towards those children he saw. [00:06:18] Agent Ballamy: I was actually gonna also approach the other kids. [00:06:22] Agent Adams: We'll go together. [00:06:23] GM: As you're talking to the family and they're kind of pretty shocked that the CIA is here. Purdy and Corporal Adams begin heading towards the children. As you guys get closer, Corporal Adams can quickly see a mask one of them is holding. [00:06:40] Agent Adams: About what age are these kids? [00:06:43] GM: 14. [00:06:44] Agent Adams: Teenagers? [00:06:45] GM: Yeah. [00:06:46] Agent Ballamy: Darn teenagers. [00:06:47] GM: The kid in question looks more like 10. [00:06:50] Agent Adams: Something funny? [00:06:53] GM: What's it to you? [00:06:56] Agent Adams: I flash my CIA badge, they start running. I will chase after them. I just want to get a hold of one of them. [00:07:03] GM: With your athletics as high as it is, you Quickly, just immediately grab two of them and they're like hey man, let go. I don't know you. [00:07:11] Agent Adams: Did I happen to grab one of the ones. The one that's holding the mask? [00:07:15] GM: Yeah. There's only three of them. [00:07:16] Agent Adams: I would like to take the mask from them. [00:07:20] GM: Hey, that's mine. My dad gave me that. [00:07:22] Agent Ballamy: It's ours now. [00:07:24] GM: Who said you could just take my stuff? [00:07:26] Agent Adams: United States government. [00:07:28] GM: My dad pays his taxes. [00:07:29] Agent Adams: Does your dad know that you use this to bully that other kid? [00:07:35] GM: I don't think he cares. I don't think anyone needs to care, man. [00:07:38] Agent Adams: So you wouldn't care if I went and told him about this? [00:07:42] GM: Well, okay. Don't do that. [00:07:46] Agent Adams: Uh huh. [00:07:47] GM: What do you want man? Would the CIA care about some 10 year old? [00:07:54] Agent Adams: Well I. I don't like bullies particularly. But while I'm here, why don't you tell me about this thing? I hold up the mask. [00:08:02] GM: Well, he kind of stammers. One of the other kids leans over and is like, what's the CIA? Shut up, Jimmy. It's just. Just a local school thing, you know, the gray man. [00:08:17] Agent Adams: Why don't you tell me about him? [00:08:19] GM: People say they've been cray person every now and again. So it scares the kids, you know. So it's fun to scare kids? It's something to do. There's nothing to do here. [00:08:29] Agent Adams: You think it's fun to scare kids? [00:08:31] GM: Sometimes. What's your charisma? [00:08:34] Agent Adams: 10? [00:08:35] GM: What's your. Do you have a skill that works over this? [00:08:37] Agent Adams: Let me check. I have 30 persuade going off of. [00:08:41] GM: Your athletic skill alone. He is very intimidating. He's like. All right man. All right, fine. [00:08:46] Agent Adams: Just leave that kid alone. All right? [00:08:48] GM: Alright, well let him alone. [00:08:50] Agent Adams: I'm keeping this. [00:08:51] GM: Ugh. Joy kill. [00:08:53] Agent Adams: I let him go. [00:08:54] GM: Don't think I won't tell the sheriff about this. [00:08:57] Agent Ballamy: It's a good thing we're already friends with the sheriff. [00:08:59] GM: Well you know, I tried. [00:09:01] Agent Ballamy: Yeah, and you didn't make it very far kid. Try harder. [00:09:06] Agent Adams: I look at Jimmy, Jimmy runs away. [00:09:11] GM: The main kid kicks a rock and walks away. [00:09:15] Agent Adams: I hold the mask out to Birdie. You think this is anything but just some dumb kids. [00:09:21] Agent Ballamy: I take the mask and I kinda look it over. [00:09:25] GM: It's just. It's like a human mask but like painted gray. [00:09:30] Agent Ballamy: A human mask? [00:09:32] GM: It's a full head rubber mask, but it's like spray painted gray. [00:09:36] Agent Ballamy: Okay. Have we heard anyone around town talking about the like a legend of a gray man? [00:09:43] GM: You have not. [00:09:44] Agent Adams: Okay, something maybe we can ask the sheriff about Yeah. [00:09:48] Agent Ballamy: I don't know how. How important it is, but you never know. [00:09:52] GM: As you guys say, that we're going to cut back steel. [00:09:55] Agent Steele: Certainly am happy to hear that. You know, he'll be all right. I just want to make sure that there's no injuries. Of course. I turn around and look for my team members and see that they've kind of gone. I'm not sure if I'll see them over in the other street or alley. Not at the moment. [00:10:14] GM: As you turn, she's like, don't worry. Thomas is just a little dramatic. But as she says that, the sheriff starts coming. It's like, all right, all right, everyone clear out. Clear out. What's going on? What's going on? [00:10:27] Agent Steele: I approach the sheriff. I'm like, just suppose the young boy got spooked by something. [00:10:36] GM: He was the great man. Will you roll human intelligence, Nolan? Yeah. [00:10:43] Agent Steele: I believe that is a one under 50. [00:10:46] GM: That's a critical success. [00:10:47] Agent Ballamy: Nice. [00:10:49] GM: The sheriff is freaked and very on edge as soon as he heard the child say gray Man. [00:10:57] Agent Steele: I'm sure it's just a local legend, but I am curious, of course, to kind of perhaps know what people make of this. [00:11:06] GM: It's just something kids talk about recently. It's a pretty. It was something a long time ago when I was a kid, but it stopped. People stopped talking about it for a while. One of the parents probably just told their kids about it and it's been spreading around again. [00:11:23] Agent Steele: That's how these things go. Old childhood games can resurface from time to time. [00:11:28] GM: Yeah. [00:11:29] Agent Steele: Warranted a sheriff. I came out in a rush to make sure that no one was hurt. I'm gonna head back to my room to get better dressed. Imagine I am just kind of in pajamas with a winter coat on. [00:11:42] GM: That sounds good. That sounds good. Thanks for coming out so fast. [00:11:47] Agent Steele: Of course, with that, because I don't want to lean too much into interrogating him about the Gray man. I'll just return to my room to actually get properly dressed. [00:11:56] GM: As you start walking away, you see these two coming out as well. [00:12:00] Agent Adams: I'd like to go to the scared kid before I go anywhere else. If they're still around. [00:12:05] GM: Yeah, they're still there. The sheriff is with him. [00:12:07] Agent Adams: I'll take the mask back from Birdie and go up to the kid specifically, and I'll kind of kneel down to get on his level and go. Just so you know, that wasn't the gray man that you saw. It was a. Some kids playing a prank, and I kind of show them the Mask. One of them was named Jimmy. I didn't get the other's names, but you don't have to worry about them picking on you anymore. [00:12:43] GM: He's crying, but he's like, nodding. [00:12:46] Agent Adams: I'll reach into my pocket and pull out a. What's probably decently melted little piece of chocolate. [00:12:54] GM: He accepts it and starts eating on it and looks like he's calming down. And the mother starts talking about like, oh, I'm gonna talk to those kids, parents and blah. Just on and on. [00:13:04] Agent Adams: Morning, Sheriff. [00:13:06] GM: Morning. [00:13:07] Agent Adams: You got some vagrants in your town? [00:13:10] GM: Yeah. And Steel, while you're kind of still there, when he came out with the mask, the sheriff was just kind of staring at the mask for a bit. Yeah, those kids can be trouble, but not dangerous. [00:13:26] Agent Adams: I gathered. Listen, we need to get into some real clothes and get some breakfast. But then we were planning on heading over to your station to collect your detainee, Ms. Bunsen. [00:13:42] GM: That sounds good. Alan makes some pretty good breakfast, so you can probably get stuff from him. [00:13:47] Agent Adams: Good. [00:13:48] GM: I'll be in the. I'll be in the station. [00:13:52] Agent Adams: You all right, Sheriff? [00:13:54] GM: Yeah, I'm fine. Just not a fun way to start a morning. No adrenaline, you know. [00:14:01] Agent Adams: I understand. I'm gonna go in and get dressed and eat breakfast. [00:14:08] GM: All right. Birdie, Are you going with him? [00:14:11] Agent Ballamy: Yeah. [00:14:12] GM: Okay, so the three of you head on in. Get yourselves a very well cooked meal with Alan. [00:14:21] Agent Steele: When I came back into the room, a thought came to me that I wish I had thought of sooner. And I want to take one of our Geiger counters and just kind of check our room even. [00:14:32] GM: Will you roll a luck check? [00:14:35] Agent Steele: 45. [00:14:38] GM: Nothing's really. It's not much. It's nothing that you would ever be concerned about for your room. [00:14:46] Agent Steele: Kind of breathe a sigh of relief and going about getting dressed. [00:14:50] Agent Adams: So what's on our itinerary today? [00:14:53] Agent Steele: Well, we'll definitely have to make sure to pick up Ms. Bunsen, as we promised the sheriff. Of course there was. Of course, the other folks will need a question. I was going to go check medical records with the Dr. Kent. Although I'm afraid that might take quite a bit of the day, so I may be able to take care of it myself. Although I don't quite trust Dr. Kent as it is. His fascination concerns me with the specimens. [00:15:20] Agent Adams: Yeah, he was weird. [00:15:21] Agent Ballamy: Mm. [00:15:22] Agent Steele: Yes, I will admit I was. It was kind of unfortunate that Ms. Bunsen was detained, but when I think about it, if she was the one doing research on this strange fungus, I'm almost curious what research has she done on her time? And we're afraid that if we take her with us, she might try to hide things while we're there. [00:15:43] Agent Adams: Well, she can take us there, and then we can. One of us or more of us can keep her outside while you poke around inside. [00:15:54] Agent Steele: That might work. We might want to be able to communicate with Abe Rogers. I'm not sure, but I wouldn't want to just, you know, detain his vehicle without him knowing. I suppose we're not sure how long we'll be here. We, of course, would be good for us to make contact, so we may want to be able to find our way to the sanitarium. But again, we'll probably need the vehicle from Abe Rogers before we can do that. And I would like to have some more findings to deliver before we just make that trip out. [00:16:21] Agent Adams: Yeah, we want something substantial. [00:16:23] Agent Steele: Mm. [00:16:24] Agent Adams: Remind me about this old woman that I saw. Was there anything notable about her that. [00:16:30] GM: You were pretty far away from her? You just saw an old looking lady at night staring at you? [00:16:36] Agent Adams: I don't think Corporal Adams would put much stock into that. Just like. [00:16:40] GM: Well, I will say you had. It definitely gave you a weird feeling. [00:16:43] Agent Adams: A weird feeling? [00:16:44] GM: Yeah, it was one of those, like, is someone staring at me? Like something running down your spine and then looking over and just feeling, like, nervous, almost. [00:16:53] Agent Adams: Did any. Did either of you happen to see an old woman last night while we were walking around town? [00:17:01] Agent Steele: There were a lot of people around town. I didn't necessarily see anyone in particular. [00:17:07] Agent Adams: Okay. It's probably nothing. I just. I think when we were walking back here or we were going out to the doctors, I don't remember exactly when, but I saw this old lady and she was just staring at us. [00:17:21] Agent Ballamy: That's odd. [00:17:23] Agent Adams: Made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. But, I mean, she just might have been some old lady who's curious about the strangers in town. But it was weird enough that I thought I'd bring it up. But if you see any old women, let me know. [00:17:37] Agent Ballamy: I will get you a census record of every old woman that's in town. [00:17:42] Agent Steele: I mean, I'm definitely curious about what she has to know. We started to go asking the folks that run this place, but it's usually the folks that are able to just kind of rest and relax in the day that are able to watch everything and are beholden to no one. [00:17:58] Agent Adams: That's true. Front porch sitters. You know, people who can just view the town without having to worry about a job or whatever. They know a lot Old timers. [00:18:11] GM: Yes, of course. [00:18:12] Agent Steele: So I think we're fal to know. Good catch, Corporal Adams. [00:18:16] Agent Adams: It might mean nothing. [00:18:19] Agent Steele: Well, we won't know until we're able to ask. But we of course have Dan Haley, the mine owner as well. The sheriff wasn't trying to shut down his mine. And of course we are curious since that's where the most recent victim has been found. While I'm more curious about the other mine workers might know, possibly being personal friends with Billy. We are, of course, again, strangers in town, so they may not be that open to talking to us. The only other folks, I mean. Well, there's always a lot of people to talk to in town. We have, of course, our patron, Alan. He might be able to kind of tell us some information. And other than that we know of, although we have not spoken to. I'm a bit concerned about how talking them would go. We know of Ms. Valerie Novikov as the local butcher and hunter. If the fish are strange and the plants are strange, I'm curious if the local game are also starting to become strange. And then we also know of the Germans. At least two of them, maybe a third. [00:19:21] Agent Adams: I saw one of them last night when we were coming in to the. To the bar. I bumped into somebody on my way in and they said something in German. I. [00:19:37] Agent Ballamy: You're sure? [00:19:38] Agent Adams: Pretty sure. I spent a lot of time in Germany a few years back. I understand it didn't seem like the right time to try and confront whoever this was. It was late and I was tired. I'm sure we can find him, though. [00:19:59] Agent Ballamy: It looks like Birdie wants to say something, but she bites her tongue. [00:20:04] Agent Steele: I mean, those are just the things we don't have to get to today. But it'd be nice to have some honest word from folks about whatever strange findings they've been seeing. Of course. And perhaps the ones that have been doing the actual research might be our best start again. I might spend today looking through old medical records to see if there's any pattern in the illnesses that the previous doctor might have written that current Dr. Kent did not notice. But I feel like I want to get to that before he's able to look through them himself and maybe hide anything he doesn't want to be known. [00:20:41] Agent Adams: Well, we're going to have to go collect Ms. Bunsen before the sheriff gets too antsy, because we did promise this morning we would go collect her. [00:20:49] GM: I do want to specify the sun is just starting to rise. You have probably about, at this point in the year, about four hours of Sunlight. [00:20:59] Agent Steele: Well, at this point, it might be worthwhile to use what daylight we have. It might be worthwhile to go check out the lab during the daylight. Although I'm aware that the strange fungus only blooms at night. But maybe I'll be the safest time. [00:21:15] Agent Adams: True. And once we have Ms. Bunsen, we don't have to go to her lab immediately. We can just kind of keep her with us. [00:21:24] Agent Steele: Of course. Unless she becomes a bit of a thorn on our side, wanting to go check something and try and pull us a certain direction. But, yeah, again, checking medical records is something that I want to go through myself. I feel like I might be able to hopefully find a pattern in them, but that's just a lot of paper reading that. [00:21:43] GM: Really. [00:21:44] Agent Steele: I don't want to waste everyone's time on that. [00:21:46] GM: I mean, you guys can do multiple things. You can split up. [00:21:50] Agent Adams: Split up. [00:21:53] Agent Steele: I could go get papers if you want to spend daylight to look at the plane. And you can just schmooze up Alan Haley, the bar owner, and just be like, hey, man, we're staying here. My. My friends are. You know, my team members are saying specific things. I just want to get to know this place. Maybe it's true. [00:22:09] Agent Adams: Bartenders usually know a lot, so I'm good with that. I just don't want to make the sheriff upset by not delivering what we promised. [00:22:19] Agent Steele: Take Henriette. You know what? If you get Henriette to drink a bit, she might also tell us some things. [00:22:25] Agent Ballamy: That is true. She's been in a jail cell for. [00:22:28] Agent Adams: So, yeah, I can go get Henriette, bring her back here, hang out while you guys do your other things. Chew the fat with Alan and maybe get some information. [00:22:39] GM: That sounds good. So the three of you have decided to split up. Corporal Adams, you're gonna acquire Ms. Bunsen and spend time chatting with her. Dr. Steele, you're going back to Dr. Kent's house to look over the files, and Birdie is going to check on the plane. This is a closed game, which means when our players split up, so do the players themselves. They leave the room, and the ones we follow are in the room so as not to give away things and help build the isolation and mystery. We're gonna follow Birdie first, so. Oh, if the other two could please leave the room. Birdie, you head outside the bar, and you kind of almost run into Dr. Kent as he's like, oh, I'm sorry. I'm heading inside. Excuse me. [00:23:45] Agent Ballamy: He steps past you, I kind of glance back at him, but I'm just gonna keep going. To the plane. [00:23:55] GM: He's moving very like focused and quick. You keep moving to the plane. There's some workers getting started. Everyone's kind of waking up. It is about 8:14. That's around the time of the sunrise. So people have kind of been working, but it's been dark, so everyone's kind of been a little slower. The dock workers are getting going and you begin to make your way over to Bay 2. [00:24:20] Agent Ballamy: Just for clarity, was I ever able to see what happened or was it dark? Anytime I tried to look at it. [00:24:31] GM: It was hard to see. You didn't see any damage to the outside of the plane when you were flying? A lightning bolt came close, but you didn't think it hit you. But it seemed to have caused problems with the plane itself. [00:24:44] Agent Ballamy: Okay. And every time I've looked at it, I haven't been able to see anything on the outside. [00:24:50] GM: Yeah, it's been dark. You haven't really had the time to give it a thorough look, but the outside seemed fine. [00:24:56] Agent Ballamy: Okay. With the sunlight. I'm gonna do kind of a thorough search, I guess, trying to see if it was. If the lightning bolt was closer than I had originally thought, if it's fried anything. [00:25:10] GM: Yeah. What, what is your. Do you have a skill appropriate for this? [00:25:14] Agent Ballamy: I have craft mechanic. [00:25:17] GM: That sounds good. What's your percentage there? [00:25:19] Agent Ballamy: 40. [00:25:20] GM: Could you give me a craft mechanic roll? [00:25:23] Agent Ballamy: I sure can. 46 over 40. [00:25:29] GM: How much time do you want to spend on this? [00:25:34] Agent Ballamy: I'm gonna spend like at least, at least 20 minutes maybe just searching over the plane, trying to see any obvious damage. [00:25:42] GM: What I'm going to do with your fail is that it takes longer for you to discover this. You're looking it over. Definitely nothing wrong with the outside of the plane at all. It takes you a bit of time, but you get on the inside, you start kind of taking things apart, Taking looks in and everything you're gathering Would it make you you? And maybe you're somewhat paranoid. It's hard to say, but it looks like someone might have sabotaged the plane. [00:26:11] Agent Ballamy: Oh. [00:26:13] GM: But time wise, that would have been before you left the airport. [00:26:17] Agent Ballamy: Right. I don't like that it so it. I'm like, sure, nothing recent's happened. It's just. [00:26:29] GM: Yeah. Looking at it, you don't feel like anything recent might have happened. The best guess you could have is the lightning bolt might have set something off that was already prepped. [00:26:40] Agent Ballamy: Oh, okay. Like a fuse. [00:26:44] GM: Yeah. Perhaps it wasn't intended to do what happened. Or perhaps something else was intended to be done or it was hard to say. [00:26:53] Agent Ballamy: Okay. [00:26:54] GM: Who knows what people intend by doing things to a plane. Maybe it's incompetence. [00:27:00] Agent Ballamy: Right. [00:27:01] GM: What's your alertness again? [00:27:03] Agent Ballamy: My alertness is 60. [00:27:06] GM: And what's your pilot? [00:27:07] Agent Ballamy: Pilot is 80. [00:27:09] GM: As you're figuring all this out, it starts to snow a little bit. Not uncommon for the area or November. But you hear something up in the clouds, almost like an airplane engine, but it's different. It's not one you've heard before. And if you look up to see there's just clouds and snow coming down, but you hear something. [00:27:40] Agent Ballamy: Is there a roll I can make for that? [00:27:43] GM: Oh, you could roll alertness if you'd like. [00:27:45] Agent Ballamy: Like, yeah. 31 under 60. [00:27:51] GM: Okay. So you take some time to devote to looking around in the sky to see if you can see anything. It's not very bright out, but it's bright enough with the cloud coverage. You get a lot of flight through. And looking up, you see maybe like a swirl of the clouds for a second and you see a light, a green light. And then it's blue and then it's violet. [00:28:21] Agent Ballamy: Come on. [00:28:23] GM: And then the clouds cover it back up. Would you make a sanity chair? [00:28:28] Agent Ballamy: Oh, I'm me. Abby needs one from trauma of the first season. 28 under 60. [00:28:42] GM: You lose one sanity point. [00:28:44] Agent Ballamy: Okay. [00:28:47] GM: Did you have anything else particular you wanted to do. [00:28:52] Agent Ballamy: If I have did. We didn't set a specific time to meet back up, did we? [00:28:58] GM: You didn't set a time to get together, but you are aware that Corporal Adams will be staying in the bar with Bunsen until the you all are done. [00:29:06] Agent Ballamy: Okay, on that. With that in mind, I'm gonna see if I can start making some sort of repairs to the plane while I have the daylight. [00:29:17] GM: Okay. Will you roll a craft mechanic check? [00:29:20] Agent Ballamy: Yes. 24 under 40. [00:29:25] GM: It takes you about an hour. But you feel confident that you were able to find the parts that were missing that you needed. Cool and able to fix up what you had, that you believe you could fly this plane again. [00:29:36] Agent Ballamy: Okay. Good. Good deal. [00:29:41] GM: And so you start heading back. Take one last look back and see. Look at the plane. Contemplate what might have happened. And you look up to the sky one last time. And then we cut to black. [00:31:12] Agent Ballamy: That's it's called. That's my jam. [00:31:14] Agent Adams: No, that was in the other. [00:31:15] GM: Let's go to Groversville. [00:31:16] Agent Ballamy: No, let's not go to Groversville. [00:31:18] Agent Adams: You know they do taxes there and. [00:31:20] GM: They have 18 deputies. [00:31:22] Agent Ballamy: Yeah, that was the most suspicious. [00:31:24] GM: Actually supposed to be 17. I messed up. [00:31:26] Agent Adams: You added one. There's an extra deputy in Grover's. [00:31:29] Agent Ballamy: It's still extra suspicious that they have that many deputies to take care of such a small town the whole time. [00:31:35] GM: You never looked into them.
